I would definatly agree with everyone else here, the key to saving money in anycase is planning.
If you plan what you will need your money for , example: Attractions...
Book your accomodation quiet late, if you are in the uk i would recommend laterooms.com
they always have cheap last minute rooms, I would also suggest that you book things whilst at home, ie attractions so you only need your ticket to gain entry instead of paying at the door.
I do agree witih another post on here which was to go out for lunch rather than dinner, most of the time you can have the same quality of food, just with less people and less money at lunch time, prices in restaurants normally go up by at least 3 £ for dinner.

Hello everyone.

Do you have tips to save on the costs we incur during our travels?

In my case, I save on airline fees, charges and expenses when traveling using Screw the Airlines. At first, I didn't know I could save around more than a hundred bucks for every flight but I did. You can check it and hope it will help you in any way too.

How bout you? Any other tips you could give?

I think if you plan for a trip before then you can save money as instant tickets are so expensive.

In my opinion, we can save accommodation fee. In fact, accommodation is where we stay overnight for a short time during the trip. Our most important purpose during our trip is travelling, not to sleep. Therefore, I think we just choose accommodation in normal level ( don't need to choose a high level - it is waste! )

Of course many backpackers aren't going anywhere unless they go dirt cheap. Harken the Earl of Somewhere: "It is much, much better to travel cheap, than to travel not at all."
