I would definatly agree with everyone else here, the key to saving money in anycase is planning.
If you plan what you will need your money for , example: Attractions...
Book your accomodation quiet late, if you are in the uk i would recommend laterooms.com
they always have cheap last minute rooms, I would also suggest that you book things whilst at home, ie attractions so you only need your ticket to gain entry instead of paying at the door.
I do agree witih another post on here which was to go out for lunch rather than dinner, most of the time you can have the same quality of food, just with less people and less money at lunch time, prices in restaurants normally go up by at least 3 £ for dinner.
