Birthday surprise

I going to be in the keys in the next fortnight. It's my friend birthday while we're there and he wants to do something adventurous. During the day. In the evening I want to surprise him and take him somewhere really fun for dinner and drinks after. Does anyone have any suggestions for a really good night?

The restaurant is the best place for giving surprise on special days. I think Craft Los Angeles restaurant is a suitable location. On my last birthday my friends through me a party there. The food, cuisine and drinks are awesome, Especially the cakes. They provides a list of cakes to be chosen for the birthday. We enjoyed the chocolate cake which was delicious in taste.
