  • trip to Eastern Europe

Hi guys, I am planning a trip to Eastern Europe next year for about a month. I have been to western europe. Like to split the rest of europe plus turkey and Egypt for 3 trips. Northern europe plus russia, Greek, turkey and egypt, and the rest for one trip. Each trip will be about a month. Any suggestions is welcomed regarding the best route, countries to visit, season to travel and etc. Thank you very much!

From my own expierience I can tell you that Poland, Ukraine and Russia are great. I was in Poland some time ago (for two weeks). I visited Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Zakopane, Wieliczka. I travelled by "Transsyberian Railway" to Russia (I think it's a correct name)
I have to tell you that Krakow was really amazing. Many historical places - Wawel Castle is more than beautiful! And the food..... DELICIOUS You could go to Krakow, then you could see a famous salt mnine in Wieliczka, then Zakopane and Auschwitz.

I would ofer to start or end your trip like this. Talin, Ryga, Kaunas. I mean via Baltica is perfect roud if you want to see Baltic states it goes through almost all tourist traps. Hill of croses in Lithuanai is not far from it, Vilius as well. It goes straight through Ryga and Talin.
