´ll do my internship at the Austrian Consulate General Commercial Section (1 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000) in Oct. und Nov. 2010.
i´ve never been to Australia, but I feel confident that I will love it there..

so i need an accommodation for Oct. and Nov. 2010
(and there is a second girl, i only know by email, who work with me, who will also need somewhere to stay)
can anybody recommend me some accommodations?
or is it better to try a special agreement with an hotel for two months?

This idea of having agreement with hotel seems to be nice but the before making this agreement you need to consult this matter from the people who belong to that area locally. They will suggest you in this context more perfectly.
