Travelling to Thailand during the Thai New Year?

Thai New Year is celebrated in mid April, more officially on April 13th. The main celebration includes throwing water on each other and a number of activities pertaining to Thai cultures and traditions. The fest is also known as Rohd Nam Songkran that stands for 'The Pouring of Songkran Water' in Thai language. Thai New Year is the best festival I've been to in the many locations I've visited. Hi anjalis. I have actually been there in April! They have an interesting celebration style! I managed to get a good offer from RihlaPrime a month prior to their New Year's Eve. They put up a nice show and on top of that, it was nice to celebrate the same event twice in one year!

It's really worth a visit during that time. The traffic might be a bit horrible, but it's definitely going to be fun. I haven't met a single person who didn't think it was.
