Train is best, leave at night arrive in the morning, the bus is a nightmare. -

if you are going with family then train can be best medium to cover the distant but it entirely depends on the availability of seats, otherwise book a cab or a taxi will be the most convenient mode of transportation for such a long distant.Comment

Well obviously, the first best way is by flight. However, the train is not too bed. You can take a train in the night and reach Goa by morning. It's a 12 hour journey. There are AC coaches too which are pretty comfortable.Comment

There are direct flights, trains and buses for this journey. Travelling by train is the cheapest way of getting there. Mumbai to Goa distance is 406 km and you can get there by train in just over 11 hours and 35 minutes. However, flight tickets come also cheap with fares starting from 1998. So both are the good option for you and you can enjoy your journey.
