The perfect time to visit Kashmir is during the months of March to October. During this interval the varying climate conditions in Kashmir are at their best. This interval covers three seasons in Kashmir i.e., springtime (March-early May), summertime (early May-late August) and fall (September-November). The flowers of springtime, the cool climate of summer and the gold and red shades of autumn all provide the peak season for Kashmir travel.
From December to early March is the winter season for Kashmir, when the entire area would wear a white cover of snow. For those, who enjoy cooling climate and are interested in skiing, winter season is enough a chance to be in Kashmir.

Best time to visit Jammu & Kashmir is not an easy question to answer considering this state is a year round destination. There are certain months of the year when Jammu & Kashmir are the perfect destinations to visit.
