Dear Lumbini is not in India. Lumbinī is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal,. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, who as the Buddha Gautama founded the Buddhist tradition.
