Terrorism is a world issue now a days unfortunately. From my experience in India, I do feel that some areas are more prone to terrorism than others, but I would have to say that with all them time I have spent in India I have never felt threatened or endangered despite being from a western origins which appears to be a recent target for terrorism in India.

Don't let travel advisories scare you too much. Traveling in India is quiet safe as long as you avoid some of the more prone areas like Jammu Kashmir and Bihar, but even there you can travel as long as you are smart and know how to move around safely.

it was really a sad situation for us & as india is such a big country so some times it happens but the security system of india is really doing well in terms of controlling all the situation and to make sure that it never happens again.
Better if you get any tourism services provider company to schedule your tour anyways you will enjoy a lot in india. So many things to visit in india as it is a country of different religion and known as for the unity of people. we are also famous for "ATITHI DEVO BHAWAH" which means guests are GOD for us.
