Default San Francisco - 10-21-2007, 07:11 PM

I love the city, it's fabulous. I work up there during the day and I miss living there so much. There are so many things to do and go see. If you don't have a car there is no problem getting around. Between the cable cars, taxi's, bus system, this city is great.

I miss the food. You can get a great meal at 4am! You can find great food any time of day. There is always something open.

I used to visit S.F. about twice a year, and I loved it. I had a blast riding cable cars, and just walking around the tourist areas, like Fisherman's Wharf and the piers.

The food there is indeed great. I really miss the clam chowder bread bowls! They are amazing. Also, S.F. has amazing sourdough bread, anybody who visits really needs to taste some!

Yes, loved it! What a beautiful city! We took a tour around the Bay, went around Alcatraz. We went over the Golden Gate Bridge, drove Lombard Street, it was a lot of fun.

The main draw for visitors to San Francisco is visiting its many different districts. Finding things to do in San Francisco relies heavily upon what district you plan on visiting and when. The Palace of fine arts located in the Marina District is an architecturally beautiful building that many tourists who love art and architecture find fascinating. Golden gate Park is a large draw, figuratively and literally as it is larger than New York's Central Park.

I agree with everyone. SF is one of the cities that is worth exploring. Been there for a couple times. On my next visit I plan to visit Alcatraz. For the meantime, I can browse what I expect to see using this : MapJack - San Francisco

"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco". San Francisco's climate is strongly influenced by the cool currents of the Pacific Ocean. So ever miss spent time in San Francisco.

San Francisco is truly one of the most beautiful cities in the United States.I go there about once or twice a month. My daughters been living there for about 10 years now. Every time I go it's a new adventure. When I think I've seen it all she shows me something new.
I was there about a week ago. We went out on a 55 ft. catamaran. We left from Pier 39 and sailed under neath the Golden gate Bridge and then around Alcatraz and Angel Island. Totally different experience than going on the normal tour boat. Took some great pictures.
with posted some of them on our web site.
The charter company was called adventure cat we were guests of a friend of my daughters who works their. So if you want a unique and different experience try sailing San Francisco Bay. I'm going back down there in about another week or two. I can't wait to see what she's going to show me now.

San Francisco, the city made for discovering, over & over again!
