Default Hollywood & Los Angeles - 10-19-2007, 06:53 PM

Has anybody else here been to either Los Angeles or Hollywood, California? I have lived in Los Angeles for about eight years, and still haven't seen all there is to see there.

What are your favorite Los Angeles and Hollywood attractions?

Hollywood Blvd. is a very interesting place to visit, but definitely nowhere near as glamorous as a lot of people think. It is nice for the first time visitor though.

Venice Beach is a great place too. You can walk to Venice from the Santa Monica Pier, where there is also a really great shopping area. I would highly recommend a visit here, even if you are from the area! I go there regularly to shop.

I have not been USA even but I wanna go Hollywood since I wanna be film maker. I have heard that people are very busy there. They dont have time for friend, for famliy. I dont know, if that is true I will be mad because here we live in family being very attached.

You can't really generalize the people in Hollywood, becuase everybody is different. It's certain personality types that are distant from their family, not necessarily the place in which they live.

Thumbs up Hollywood & Los Angeles - 11-08-2007, 02:29 AM

Hi Jewel! There is a very good online source I just discovered called MapJack. This website features a very clear street views of cities in California. I deemed that since you have not visited the whole LA yet, why don't you take a virtual tour using MapJack. You don't only get to see the entire LA surrounding but as well as other featured cities in CA. I've tried using it and it was really fun! It was like, I have seen those places in real!

Yes, in some cases, this can be true. But when you live in a certain area, you pick up that area's general attitude… Kind of like how you pick up accents, cultures, and sports team preferences. This is America, we create our own culture in our cities.

Some people either like LA or hate LA. you just have to visit and see for yourself.
