I have been to Phuket and it was very enjoyable. It is a nice part of Thailand and is loaded with great scuba dive centers if you are into it.

Default Koh Samui - 11-27-2007, 11:55 AM

I just came back from Koh Samui, we stayed in a resort called the Pavilion on Lamai Beach. We had a fantastic time and were really lucky with the weather as many people said there had been much rain. We booked our flights last minute online and found this great site for hotels and tours which we used also I would reccommend anyone to go to Pavilion or Koh Samui for that matter its a really beautiful place

About Phuket

Phuket is Thailand's largest island, approximately the size of Singapore. Lying 862 km south of Bangkok, Phuket is nestled in the balmy waters of the Andaman Sea, Thailand's portion of the Indian Ocean. Phuket is blessed with magnifkcent coves and bays, palm-fringed powdery white beaches and sparkling island-dotted seas. This lush tropical landscape provides plenty of opportunity to enjoy superb accommodations and seafood, delightful turn-of-the century Sino-Portuguese architecture, as well as numerous sporting and leisure pleasures - all of which combine to create a delightful ambience for truly memorable holidays.

In all, Phuket is an island of unparalleled beauty and unique cultural traditions, a place to explore as well as to relax totally and relish the vacation of a lifetime.

Hi dude , here some words about thailand
Most travellers' first sight of the city is the International Terminal at Don Muang Airport , 25km to the north of the city. Once you're through immigration, you'll find 24-hr exchange booths, a TAT information desk (daily 8am-midnight), an accommodation booking desk and a left-luggage office (B40 per day). The domestic terminal at Don Muang is 500m from Terminal 2, connected by a walkway and a free shuttle bus (daily 5am-11pm; every 20min).
