Thread: Walking street in pattaya

I have something funny to tell.

My friend was on vacation in pattaya in thailand for a whopping 5 weeks. I have no idea wha the has done there all that time. I think he will tell me more when he has recuperated. Anyway we talked yesterday and he was all tired cause he came home with the flight in the morning. But he had time to tell me following:

1) He have never seen so many transexuals in one place.

2) Never seen so many old men walking around with great looking ladies.

3) He have never seen so many bodybuilders in one place.

4) Never seen so many bars in one city.

5) Never seen so many men and females wearing so much gold.

When he told me this in his own comical way, I literally rolled on the floor laughing. He is a funny guy but when describing the above information I couldn't help myself.

What sort of experience do you have from visiting thailand ?

Walking street begins at the south end of Beach rd.

Pattayaland/Boyztown is a soi before Walking street.

Another main spot is Soi 7 and Soi 8: full of beer bars.

IMO being right next nightlife spot is not a good idea: very noisy until late in the night!

Yes all of the above although you may get mugged if you wear too much Gold late at night if drunk, although anywhere in the world is the same and AI feel much safer in Pattaya late at night than I do in London, I spend 6 months a year in Pattaya and surrounding parts and love the great climate, knowing the sun is going to be shining EVERY day is a great feeling on its own, the Thai food is so so good and cheap, try a Thai green curry, its awesome.
The night-life, well you have to be here to see it to believe it, I am 54 yrs old and have a 22 year old girl friend and dont care what anyone thinks, I didnt fall in love as was advised and have a great time keeping up with her if you know what I mean, no more Western woman and thier stiff attitude for me.
Pattaya best place in the world when you know the score.

As good an area is LK Metro, not as vast and varied as Walking street but good bars with cheap beer, I often use the Kilkenny bar or Murphy's law with beer about 60 baht a bottle and free pool table, often parties with free food and in this area has several Go Go bars, starting with Oasis a go go, actually on soi Baukhao just 60 meters from Metro, then Sugar Sugar, recently opened but a fantastic line up of girls, then Kiss a go go, then Submarine, a bit small this one, then the Office a go go, then Mash then about the best is Champagne although as good a girls in Sugar Sugar and Oasis but sometimes less girls as they get taken out.
Its great to see the average 65 year old guy who no doubt is a miserable old git in UK, hand in hand with a cute 20 something Thai babe, I know a lot will shun the idea but the only one that matters is the guy enjoying himself and the girl working to feed her family.
