Thread: Travellers Rooms

About 2 months ago I heard of this really interesting accommodation concept called Travellers Rooms.

What they do is; They collect all the "odd rooms" or rooms that are situated in 4/5 star hotels and accommodation properties but do not comply 100% with the standard of the hotel which usually go to staff rooms or storage areas and they covert them into double rooms for adventure travellers. I have been to one of these rooms and I could not believe the value. It was a little smaller than the average room at this particular hotel but it definitely was worth way more than I paid. I felt safe, it was comfortable and clean and I was free to use all 5 star facilities at a fraction of the price.

If you are planning on going to Cape Town or the Western Cape you should do yourself a favour and at least just check it out. I can almost guarantee that you will be amazed.
