    Default Rajasthan's Best Rivers

    In reality, Rajasthan has a extensive river system, though most of it is in the southern and central parts of the state. Rajasthan also has a lot of seasonal rivers that flourish during the monsoons.

    Rajasthan Rivers are break into two main river systems. The rivers play a major position in the irrigation system of the state. Rajasthan is the largest state of India, which covers utmost area in the western part of the country.

    Rajasthan's important rivers are:-

    Chambal River :- The Chambal River is a branch of the Yamuna River in central India, and forms part of the greater Gangetic drainage system

    Banas River :- The Banas is a river of Rajasthan state in western India.

    Berach River :- The Berach River, a tributary of the Banas River, is a river of Rajasthan state in western India. The Berach originates in the hills of Udaipur District, northeast of Udaipur city.

    Ghaggar-Hakra River :- The Ghaggar-Hakra River is an intermittent river in India and Pakistan that flows only for the duration of the monsoon season.

    Luni River :- The Luni is a river of western Rajasthan state, India. It originates in the pushkar valley of the Aravalli Range, near Ajmer .

    Sabarmati River :- The Sabarmati River is a river in western India and one of the major rivers of north Gujarat. River Sabarmati is one of the biggest West flowing river of Gujarat which originates from Dhebar lake.

    Chambal and luni are considered as two main rivers of Rajasthan. These rivers flow along the eastern border between Rajasthan and Madhaya Pradesh and the Chambal flows northwards across the state. All above six are main water source of the Rajasthan state.

    Rajasthan also has many seasonal rivers that flourish during the monsoons, refreshing the landscape in many parts of the state. Some of Rajasthan’s important rivers are: Chambel river,banas river,sabarmati river,gomati river,ghaggar river.

    Wow solomankane, You have shared a really nice list about Rajasthan's Best Rivers. I like your shared detail and will try to go one of them after finishing my bus trips to nyc. I am going there with my whole family. They are a big lover of NYC attractions. Anyway, I want to ask you, Which River have you visited personally in life?
