Unhappy How to overcome motion sickness!?

I was often car-sickness throughout the trip; this feeling was indeed very bad. I've tried all ways that some people instructed but they didn’t work. Is anyone here like me? And what do you do to overcome it? I really love travel, but think of being sick on a vacation makes me feel disgusting T_T. I’ll have a holiday with my company next month, so I’m very worried about this. Please help me! Thanks in advance.

Have you tried any medication ? Does it help at all ?

Gets it worse if you try and watch a dvd or reading something in the car ?

    Hi Tourismzone,

Taking medicine doesn't work at all, and reading something in the car makes me feel worse quickly. There are some ways I tried such as: paste a salonpas into the navel ; hold a slice of ginger in the mouth; smell some mandarine peels, etc. I also tried these ways at the same time but it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. I can't guess it

Anyways, thanks so much for your reply

    Cheers,
    S.O

p/s: Everybody plz give me more tips!!!Plz!!! >.<

There is a drug for motion sickness. But I think the best medication would be to travel more.

Avoid spicy and fatty foods. These types of foods tend to upset the stomach, while the consumption of these before traveling could complicate the symptoms of motion sickness.

A balance band is also a great idea as well as taking ginger root. But of course there is nothing like practice... sometimes it just takes getting used to moving and turning so quickly. Keep your eyes on your partner and try to not scan the entire room as you spin or turn... we call this spotting.. keeping your eyes on your "spot" for as long as you can and let your head be the last part of your body to turn and the first to finish. You can spot your partner, your direction, or a specific spot in the room depending on the figure you are dancing.

    GOOD LUCK!
