Thread: Angles sur l'anglin, a beautifull village in France

Hello, France has what are known as 'Le plus beaux de village de France' (The most beautiful villages in France) We can certainly recommend Angles sur Anglin with its ruined chateau sitting on an outcrop of rock overlooking the Low Town and the river Anglin. It was fought over in the 100 years war, but today it's winding medieval streets are peaceful and inspiring. Beautiful surrounding countryside, good restaurants, art galleries, and plenty of festivals in the summer.
