Easiest Way to get Visa to FRANCE

hello!

i am a filipina who have a french boyfriend, he is inviting me to visit France. What is the easiest way to apply for a tourist visa going to France? The main prob is i stopped working and school, however i already have a Chinese Visa that is good for 1year..

Would this give a bigger chance that they will approve my visa?
If not what other possible options just to go to France?
Or can i just get another Schengen Visa but not in a French Embassy?

Have you ever tried to inquire at the french embassy? Maybe you can get some tips among the other applicants there...
