Default The longest vacation - 08-25-2007, 07:43 PM

My longest vacation travel was Goa travel.
It was nearly two month long. It was awesome. We had really great time there.

Its the most popular tourist destination in India, Ricardo.
I specially love the beaches in Goa.

My longest was a three month stay in the UK, to be back with family. Though I stayed in the house I grew up, it was still officially a vacation as I am now an American resident.

I didn't experience a long vacation yet. I think 3 days is not that long but anyway I still enjoy my stay.

Two weeks in San Francisco in August 1997. I haven't taken that kind of time since.

There is a cruise that goes all around the world over the course of a year. Nope, I didn't go but I would love to

I wouldn't think that many people could do that sort of trip till they retire! Things are a little different in the UK than the US though because we get a month of annual vacation, where as here it seems that people start out with only a week. I don't think I could cope with that long term.

Yes britjojo, but I travelled when I was too young.
I finished my school and I had a lot of free time before joining college.

I've thought a lot about taking a year off to travel. I probably should before I'm too old (I'm 28 now.)
