    Default Favourite Vacation Spot?

I have travelled a fair bit in my time, more so before my daughter was born of course. But I have racked up enough air miles to know that of all the places that I would most like to go back to, it would probably be Cyprus.

Almost anywhere in Cyprus in fact. I love the language, I love the weather, I love food, the wine, the dancing. If I could make a living there I would be so happy settling down there!

Interesting to hear that cyprus is one of your favourite spots. I have a friend of mine that really hated cyprus, he said there's nothing to do. Oh well, I think there's stuff to do but he didnt like it generally which made the whole trip negative.

I have not travelled much outside of south asia. I've only visited very few places beside south asian countries. I love to travel India very much. Specially Goa, its a great tourism destination.

Cyprus I think is better if you speak the language. That way you are better able to get around, better able to live a real life while you are there.

My first trip there in fact was to stay with friends in Limasol (or rather a village a little way out from there). I got the guided tour, authentic food, and didn't face the dangers most tourists do.

I always dug San Fransisco because it is a nice city (albeit expensive) and a fun travel destination

I would have to agree with San Francisco. Sadly, I have not been there in 10 years.

Now, if I were to list a favorite international destination I would have to list Thailand (southern area) as an awsome spot to visit

Thailand always worried me. You hear so many stories about travellers being set up for drug carrying, having things planted in their luggage and so on that I don't think I could ever relax whilst there.

    Wow, sounds intresting.
I've never heard about that. Btw, I've been once in Bangkok. But that was not for vacation. We went there to take my grandfather to a pretty big hospital. Bangkok is pretty big and very beautiful city.

I'd love to go to Bangkok. People get set up all the time in the USA for drugs. I'm not too worried about it.
