The National Museum of Australia holds some of the nation's most popular and important items including Phar Lap's heart and the Holden Prototype No.1, as well as many significant artifacts from Australia's Indigenous history.

The National Museum of Australia is a wonderful place to connect as a family. The Museum hosts regular festival days, with performances, demonstrations, conversation and craft.

I visited National Museum of Australia few months ago before my Boston NY bus tour. It preserves and interprets Australia's social history, exploring the key issues, people and events that have shaped the nation. It also holds the world's largest collection of Aboriginal bark paintings and stone tools, the heart of champion racehorse Phar Lap and the Holden prototype No. 1 car.

Jamar! National Museum of Australia is truly a tremendous place to get an overview of life in Australia. Regarding your stay; I will recommend you to choose The Hyatt Hotel Canberra. It is quite expensive but a nice place to stay in Canberra. I hope you will enjoy your stay there. I have enjoyed the services of this hotel just before my new york to niagara falls tour during an official trip to Australia. To get details about National Museum check out this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationa...m_of_Australia

National museum is the most famous museum of Australia. I visited there about few months ago with my friends. I had great experience there. It is an ideal destination for history and nature lovers. So I suggest you should go there once and can have a lot of experience there.
