Default Narragansett Rhode Island in August

My wife and I rented a house for the first week in August in Narragansett, RI. We will be very close to Scarborough State Beach. This is one of the hottest weeks of the year.

After we rented the house, we realized there is no air conditioning. Some people have said that you never need AC in this part of the country, but I find that hard to believe.

Does anyone actually have any experience with this area at this time of the year? Is AC needed?

    Thanks for the tips
    Carl

The weather of Narragansett Rhode Island in August is pretty good and manageable like approximately 15 °C to 27 °C. So there is no need for any air conditioning facility. Enjoy your trip with your wife.
    Best regards,
