    Visiting Gobeklitepe

    I couldn't find any official site with information on the subject, is Gobeklitepe open to the public?

    And if so is there any issue with visiting in late November considering all of the Syria business and it being so close to the border.

      Easy to arrange an excursion there from Urfa. Until now, no problem at all for tourists despite the war in Syria. This would probably only change if Turkey is drawn into a war with Syria but this seems very very unlikely.

          Gobeklitepe is a most famous historical place of the world. I have been there about few years ago and had an awesome experience there. In my point of veiw it is a great place for adventure and history lovers. I think you should go there once if you like to visit adventures spots. What will you say about it?

              Darian, i will say you had shared really great and wonderful images of it. Before it, I have no idea about this place but your shared images show that it is an ideal place for the history lovers. I like all of these images and I will make a plan to go there after finishing my Manhattan to Niagara bus trip. I am sure this place will offer to see many historical things which increase in knowledge. I will try to complete it soon.

                yes, Sami123! I also do agree with you in that case that i have no idea about the place that is running here by that discussion, But after watching all of these images i will say that it is a goo place for me to go there so will be there for sure after taking my la to yosemite tour cause i know it would be a good time for you and for me as well.
