  • Tips for living in London?

    Hi guys,
my name is Stephanie and I'm from Germany but right now I'm living in London for 3 months to do an internship and improve my English. Well of course I'm also here to see new things, to get to know the British culture and to make memorable experiences. Maybe some of you, who are from England or the UK could help me while giving me tips what I shouldn't miss? Because I'm a student I can't spend a lot of money and that's why I would prefer some cheap insider tips =)
I've already visited several sights for instance: the London Zoo, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower Bridge! On the internet I've found a website named www(dot)discountbritain(dot)net offering 20 % discount on these sights. That's a really good advantage to me because the London sights are very expensive. Maybe you're interested in saving money too, there is also a website for French attractions! (www(dot)smartsavefrance(dot)com)

So I would be glad about getting some answers from you!

Hiya Stephie, I'd recommend seeing all the Museums. I went to the London design Museum last weekend because its exhibition is celebrating London and it's culture. May well be worthwhile and also there is a ticket giveaway - which I find is quite handy Hope you enjoy it as much as I did

Where in germany do you live ?

How's the job market looking like in your city ?

I hope you enjoy your time in London.

Knowing, understanding and speaking English is a must if you want to be attractive on the job market.

Hi, if you want to save your basketball teams from unnecessary stress and fatigue the best thing you could do is have an Image van rental waiting for them when they touch ground. It will not matter how short of a flight is involved to get any athletic team to their destination fatigue sets in. Cheerleading teams have often reaped the benefits of having a 15-passenger van rental waiting for their arrival. This gave them the time to relax before they had to go for warm ups knowing they were not depending on crowded slow moving public transportation. See signature link below to get more help.

        All the best!

There is a well-established traveller's community in London consisting mainly of Australians, New Zealanders and South Africans who have come in search of good times and to earn the mighty UK pound. Because of this, London is a unique place for travellers to live and work as most people who come here on a two year working holiday visa tend to stay for the full two years. London is a busy place but full of anything you could hope for. Any activity you want can be found here somewhere - any club, sports group, language course, art class etc. If you want them to be, every day can be filled with activites.

London is an exciting, broad-based, and friendly city and there is no end to the opportunities that living here can give you. With vast numbers of restaurants, theatres, shops, cinema screens and museums all within easy reach in London, you will never be short of something entertaining to do. Especially when there are so many free activities you can enjoy.
