    The name Indonesia has its roots in two Greek words: "Indos" meaning Indian and "Nesos" which means islands. It is an appropriate description of the archipelago as there are estimated to be a total of 17,508 islands, of which only about 6,000 are inhabited, stretching for 5,150 km between the Australian and Asian continental mainlands and dividing the Pacific and Indian Oceans at the Equator.
    Five main islands and 30 smaller archipelagoes are home to the majority of the population. The main islands are Sumatra (473,6O6 sq.km), Kalimantan 1539,400 sq.km), Sulawesi l 189,216 sq. km), Irian Jaya (421,981 sq. km), and last but not leastJava (132,187 sq.km), home to 70 percent of the country's population. Indonesia shares Irian Jaya with Papua New Guinea and two thirds of the island of Kalimantan with Malaysia and Borneo.

      Well, I totally agree with you, Indonesia is a beautiful country and with lots of attractive and incredible places. Bali is the major tourist spot over there that’s the reason every year tourists visit in a huge numbers from all over the world.
      Moreover, other top places are Istiqlal Mosque, Prambanan Temple, Sulawesi and Lake Toba.

          Indonesia is one of the beautiful places in Asia and best for honeymoon vacation. It has plenty of magnificent places and Bali is one of them where number of visitors spending their honeymoon.
          Moreover, the top places in Bali like Istiqlal Mosque, Prambanan Temple, Sulawesi and Lake Toba.

                  I would like to say that you have shared very nice information about Indonesia. It is a great place for visit where tourist come here every year with family and kids and had great time there. It is my favorite one travel destination around the world. I have been there numerous times of my life. In my point of view it is a best place to enjoy family holidays. Millions of tourist love to visit there due to its incredible attractions.

                    jack! I agree with you. My brother visited Indonesia with college trip during last summer holidays. According to him, Indonesia is a nice country for visit. There are very wonderful and famous destinations for visitors. Let me shared famous Indonesia's destinations name:
                    Lake Toba
                    Tanjung Puting
                    Mount Bromo
                    Gili Islands
                    Ubud

                      Lake Toba is a wonderful destination for travelling lovers. I want to visit again in my life. I enjoyed boating swimming and great fun there with my friends. I have some knowledge about this lake like Lake Toba is a large natural lake occupying the caldera of a supervolcano. This lake is about 100 kilometres long, 30 kilometres wide, and up to 505 metres deep. I hope this info is informative for travellers.

                        I have never visited Lake Toba in my life, but after reading your post, it developed my craze to explored this destination. I want to visit this destination mu girlfriend birthday. It will be held on January and I want go there with her because she want to spend this day with me. I want to make this day memorable for both of us. I have don't any idea about it. Would you like to suggest me something about that?

                            I am feeling very bad to tell you that I have never visited Indonesia in my life. Even my mind is blank about this destination. after reading your post , It developed my craze to be there at least once. So for the sake of this purpose I need your help about it's attractions and accommodations. Would you like to help me in this regard?

                              Lake Toba is an outstanding destination for around the world that you can explore in Indonesia. I love this destination due to its rich nature beauty. I also visited there before going to enjoy my aquarium portland maine aquarium portland maine and I really enjoyed its nature's charming views. Millions of tourists visited it annualy with family and kids and will came back with a lot of pleasant memories. What will you say about it?
