  • Explore the Egyptian Tombs at the British Museum

If its happens to rain while in London (which it probably will) then there is no better place to visit than the British Museum. For any history enthusiast the museum offers a mixture of attractions from the Rosetta stone, to the world’s oldest chess set to the rather impressive tombs of ancient Egyptian royalty. The exhibits explore different periods in world history from the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Vikings. It is an amazing collection of historic exhibits and is the perfect place to visit with the children and with free entry it is worth consideration.

Can anyone else put foreword their favourite Museum to visit in the UK?
