Default London's famous spots? - 06-28-2008, 06:53 AM

My husband has been assigned to London for work and I will be going with him. His company said we will be staying in Ashford. I'd like to know what are the famous tourist spots in Ashford, if any. Or how can we go from Ashford to the famous spots?

I can't help you much, but I made some searches on ashford in the UK.

It's not that far from the port in dover, where you can easily travel a weekend to france. The Dover - Calais stretch.

It's a longer way to go to London from ashford than the other way ashford to dover.

I have been to the UK many years ago, then I visited among other destinations, manchester and during a day trip we went to blackpool amusement park.

You absolutely must visit Mt. Rainier. The National Park offers hiking, picture taking, trail riding, camping, cascading waterfalls, wildlife and so much more.
Even though not every single activity you could possibly want to do may not be provided, there is a plethora of activities bound to keep your attention here at the park.

Directions: Located South of Tacoma. Just outside of Ashford, Washington.

Thanks, busnessworld. I'll probably settle for the picture taking in Mt. Rainier. I'm not really into hiking and trailing.
I was so excited with my husband's business trip, I have made my plans for my "own" trip, as well. Haha.. I found great information about London and its nice places through this london guide.
I haven't yet thought of France. Maybe, I'll do some researching about it, too. Thanks, tourismzone.
