    Default Hungary is great

    Budapest is great!

I now live in Budapest, and though I am a Norwegian, I really love to live here. Because of this, I made this homepage where you can read more about the sights and places to visit in both Budapest, but also in the rest of the nation. There are much to see, and though many people speak little English, and some people say that Hungarians are not to friendly (which is sometimes true), it still is a great place to visit. So I invite you all to come, and also check out the webpage I made which contain lots of useful information for those of you who would like to visit the land of the magyars!

Take care people And please write some comments if you have been to Hungary, I would like to know what you guys think!

    Default Budapest

I loved Budapest as well a lot! It was a starting point for my Eastern Europe trip. I took a car hire Budapest and then travelled to Debrecen, Prague, Olomouc, Krakow, Warsaw, however I prefer Budapest from all those cities.

Budapest became one of Central Europe's most popular tourist attractions in the 1990s. Attractions in the city include Buda Castle which houses several museums including the Hungarian National Gallery, the Matthias Church, the Parliament Building and the City Park. The city has many museums, three opera houses, and thermal baths. Buda Castle, the Danube River embankments and the whole of Andrássy Avenue have been recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Thumbs up Budapest can be a cheap place

Hi, We spent one week in Budapest with my girlfriend. Our budget was not huge for the accommodation, so we rent a room in an apartment in the city center for only 20 euros per night. We used in common the bathroom and the kitchen, and we only spent 10 euros per person, cheaper than a youth hostel. We can highly recommend them.
