Thread: Europe suggestions!

We are travelling to Rome/Croatia in September 09, after which we have 3 weeks to see more of Europe. There are so many places, so close together we are at loggerheads as to what country/city to visit. We leave from Venice. Has anybody any suggestions of MUST see places. We are travelling from Australia so don't want to waste any time.

Macedonia is near Croatian. Croatia offers beautiful rivers, lakes and mountains. I would stay there 3 weeks

If you have time Paris and Amsterdam are well worth a visit. Brussels is lovely too. And if you’re in Belgium go to Bruges as well, is a beautiful city.
And after all that if you have some time left, come over to Ireland!

I`m suggesting Croatia for a summer holiday, and I`m sure after been here you`ll suggest it too.

I`m suggest visitning Krakow is it beautiful city in Poland.

I suggest you to visit Antalya is perfect holiday city in Turkey.

If you love art and architecture then Athens is a great place to visit in Europe.

I highly recommend Paris. This city is with a prolonged history with a touch of modernity. It has the typical Western European oceanic climate which is affected by the North Atlantic Current. Paris' climate is mild and moderately wet, and with a average temperatures hovering between 15 and 25°C, and a fair amount of sunshine.

Apart from Paris, there are lots of other attractive tourist destinations over Europe.

The Greek islands are still beautiful despite some of them having been over-run by tourism. The time of year you are going means they should be quieter and if you head for the smaller out-of the way islands you should have a great time.
