Thread: Getting to Vienna from the US?

Would like to know if anyone could tell me what kind of weather to expect in Helsinki in early December. Is it excessively cold? Snow? Could it eventually bring me trouble in flight delaying or in moving around the city? If so, what would you consider the best time in winter to go? Thank you.

Usually around zero temperatures, but on the plus side. If snow comes, it melts away pretty fast. No problems in flights and traffic.
Permanent snow usually can be expected around Christmas and it smelts away in April. If you want to see Helsinki in snow, the best time would be in March. Days are already longer and no extreme cold to be expected.
