    Has anyone been to the Sahara? I would really love to visit this place one day. But i suppose it is very hot there/ what do you say for this?

    Sahara is the world's largest hot desert. (Almost as large as the continental United States)

    The most authentic way to explore the Real Sahara must be on a a camel.

    Have you crossed the Sahara? How much time can it take? Is it dangerous? Where should I start the journey, i mean what country, where is it easier to find the guide? I will appreciate any answers for really don't know where to start my journey planning

    yea I read something about that as well, Sahara is actually expanding, interesting stuff.

    Yeah it says that global warming and poor farming methods are the possible causes
    of it. I hope it's the greeneries that expands not the dessert

    Default Sahara-get in

    Western Sahara is a hot, dry desert; consequently, rain is rare. The only international airport is in El Auin connected with Canary Islands, Morocco and Spain.
