I am the first to admit I do not keep a good schedule. For this reason I hate when house keeping wants to come into the room and I am still sleeping.

So when I stayed in Extended Stay and was offered the choice of no housekeeping and paying less, I thought it was wonderful!

That sounds like a good option. I wish they didn't charge so much, though.

In the MD/DC region where I used these most, they were by far the cheapest options for me for hotels. Other places locally were astronomical, and didn't have the facilities for you to cook for yourself like this did.

Hmm. In California and southeastern VA they were surprisingly high. But they are really nice.

I actually just checked online and yes, for CA the prices per night are higher than in Gaithersburg, MD. Not a huge variation, but enough.
